Kroger - Louisville

I am leaving this review in hopes that Kroger corporate sees it. The first representative I spoke to on the phone today was terrible. I hope they can improve their communication skills when talking to customers and their spouses, and allow them to ask questions without being disruptive or having an attitude. However, when I called back and spoke to Hannah, the supervisor (as the first rep refused to transfer me to a manager), she was wonderful. Thank you for listening to my concerns and taking action to resolve the issue. I didn't care about points after the way I was treated during the first call, I just didn't want someone else to have a similar negative experience. I am grateful for the warm transfer and appreciate Hannah's assistance in fixing the issue. Thank you for hearing me out and addressing the problem. Love Hannah!!

I recently had a negative experience at this store while using the self-checkout system. I was scolded by a rude store assistant for using a hand scanner during the checkout process. The assistant claimed that using the hand scanner could cause price mix-ups, which I found confusing as both scanning items at the self-checkout machine and using a hand scanner should produce the same results. There were no signs indicating Kroger's policies on using hand scanners. I wonder why the hand scanner tool is provided if it could cause issues. In my opinion, using the hand scanner is more convenient and efficient than manually scanning each item at the machine. I believe that interactions with store assistants should be professional and respectful. Unfortunately, I was dissatisfied with the store assistant's behavior as it made me feel disrespected and possibly discriminated against. I hope that Kroger values creating an inclusive and respectful shopping environment for all customers and look forward to a response addressing these concerns.

The guy stationed at the self checkout was very personable. Most kids his age are less than verbose. Kudos to whoever that was.

I'm not sure why I haven't tried this place before. Whenever I'm in town, I always end up here. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the organization of the restaurant. It's a fun experience.
