Lovely garden centre, really dog friendly which is a massive bonus. Even allocated seating for dogs inside the restaurant. Why don’t other garden centres value dog owners?
Garden centres are over priced and seem to sell everything except plants to my mind. It would be like going in a shoe shop and coming out with a bucket load of fruit and veg, then spotting a small rack of slippers for sale on the way out. Oh and there’s always a cafe with carrot cake, but I’ve never seen carrot cake made with carrot grown by the garden centre. Ever. That said we had a decent OAP style lunch and this one’s got a dog friendly section to the cafe which is handy if you have dogs and want to drink coffee after looking at things you could buy at half the price anywhere else.
We took 2 dogs and were welcomed into the restaurant. Dog permitted seating area was spacious and inviting. We sat outside and relaxed. Staff incredibly welcoming. Will return soon .
This is a lovely garden center with a vast selection of healthy plants and great deals. They also offer a wide range of garden furniture and gifts, all related to gardening. We enjoyed a delightful meal at a charming restaurant on-site, and the food was delicious. The scones looked so tempting that we couldn't resist buying one to take home. It was a wonderful afternoon!
