Pakefield Plaice - Lowestoft

Squeaky cleaner fish n chippery with old church paws for the many customers to sit and wait while everything was freshly cooked in vegetable oil. the chips were new kartoffels, which are not as good as old, but are common for the time of the year and the diligent on the fresh (not frozen cable was perfectly crisp. all served in environmentally friendly cartons and they get a free bottle of pop when they spend over £20! we sat on one of the many cliff top benches to enjoy the view of the fishing boats while we refine. obviously this 'plaice' has solved her game since the last review. worth visiting, like the nearby church and the gorgeous beach (also very clean.) nb pakefield is one of the earliest known areas of human habit in Great Britain, as flint tools and teeth from the water vole mimomys savini, a wrench dating spezies, were found in the cliffs in 2005. this suggests that hominine can be dated in closeland 700,000 years ago. even though they had been sad, they would have been shockless:

Delicious fish and chips cooked to order. what can be more beautiful than sitting outside as the sun goes down enjoying a meal chatting with others do the same! I loved it!

Opens really early so if you have children or don't want to eat late it's perfect. Also you can phone through order so it's ready when you go to collect. Nice touch they supply tartae sauce and wedges of lemon. Always polite!

At our vist found it very busy. But shows its popular The cod I had was good soft white fresh.

First time user today and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how well cooked everything was, clean and tidy surroundings with very helpful staff. I'm disabled and had a 5 minute wait so the chap behind the counter said that if ivwanted to wait in my car he'd bring my order out to save me standing, surely enough 5 minutes later out he came with my freshly cooked lunch. I will go back again
