The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I took my husband out for lunch to celebrate his birthday. It was a lovely restaurant with a few bugs around, but not too bothersome. My husband ordered the Lobster pasta and said it was 'really good!'. My Aunt and I both had the Roast Pork and vegetables, which was enjoyable. The portions were generous. The outdoor seating area was dog friendly and we enjoyed sitting outside on the grass under a tree. We will definitely return to this charming spot.

This restaurant is fantastic for lunch. I didn't make a reservation but managed to get a table in the bar section. Despite being very crowded, the staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered the grilled mackerel and it was cooked perfectly.

To use an Australian vernacular colloquialism, this is a 'constipation pub '. 'You just can 't pass it! ' Most staff were friendly and welcoming on the 2 nights we visited. But the best part was; It was the first pub that I found in FNQ that knew how to cook a rare steak correctly! Yum!! Had the 'surf ' added to my piece of 'turf ' and this was absolutely gorgeous too. Everything cooked to perfection. The wife 's roast lamb serving was very generous too and tasty. The next night we went for the shared seafood platter w` chips salad. Once again a very generous serving and cooked to perfection too. Absolutely loved the way they prepared the scallops, (No Batter/crumbs like most chefs do , and the squid, (aka calamari , was nice to get the fins(? and mantle served as very tender strips rather than the usual rings. Looking at their fridge wines, their selection would make Mrs Murphy 's son look like a beginner. Highly recommend this joint!

Only wanted a takeaway coffee, but had no money, so tried to use their cash machines. it was charged a fee in height of $2.90, the after where the machine said no cash available. ordered a coffee from her menu as $5, but was charged $6 plus 10 cent fee. everything up to $9 for a coffee! will not be back.
