I’m seriously considering becoming an expatriate becoming a Canadian citizen just on the basis of this one company. The spinach omelette bites are so good I literally put my hand on my heart for the Leaf, hell yes I did.
During our travels through Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, we stopped to get a quick breakfast sandwich. We are regulars at a local donut shop back in the states, but let me tell you, the lovely Vietnamese ladies in Texas don't compare to Tim Horton's blueberry timbits! They melt in your mouth and are absolutely delicious. You should definitely stop by and try one. The sausage muffin was just okay, nothing special. The staff was incredibly friendly though!
During my visit to my friend in Lunenburg, I had trouble finding a good cup of coffee. Despite the many diners along the way to her place, I was unfamiliar with the area and wanted something reliable. That's when I came across the iconic Canadian franchise, Tim Horton's. I noticed the Tim's sign while navigating the Lunenburg road and immediately felt excited. Luckily, I didn't have to wait in the drive-thru, which was a plus. This location likely doesn't get too busy due to its somewhat remote setting, except maybe during the morning rush. I ordered my usual large coffee with two creams and it was prepared quickly for me at the window. There was also an order total displayed at the window, in case the drive-thru speaker was unclear or if you were preoccupied with finding exact change. As I drove away from this quaint Tim Horton's, I couldn't help but smile. While it may not be gourmet, when you're craving consistency, you can always count on a great Tim Horton's location just around the corner.
I had a very good dining experience at this restaurant. My menu included a delicious dark roasted coffee, a tasty apple fritter, and a great pumpkin pie donut. The old fashion glaze and Canadian maple donuts were good, but not outstanding. The sugar donut was just okay. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its good food and service.
Stopped into this location after visiting family in the area in the evening of March 12. Was surprised by the great customer service! Generally a Tim Hortons (not this location) on a Sat night has disgruntled employees who obviously don't want to be there. The guy who took our order was very pleasant and friendly. We purchased Tassimo disks and a coffee mug and he offered to give us a bag to carry these items. We ordered other items as well to eat in at the restaurant, including a muffin that I asked to have heated in the microwave. He checked if I wanted butter or margarine. Bagel my husband ordered was toasted correctly and not burnt. Coffee was fresh. At this location they don't have garbage cans! They ask you to leave your waste on the table and then they clear off the tables. The employee who was working was promptly cleaning up tables (not texting behind the counter looking bored like I would expect to see at a Tim's) and the restaurant looked clean. He stopped over to ask how everything was! Bathrooms were also clean! In general Tim Hortons is a quick stopping spot where great service is not expected so when this happens it is shocking! Note to manager: check out who the young man was that was working around 8:00 on March 12 and give him a pat on the back!
