The food had a home cooked feel which is a welcome change from the national chains and bistro style establishments we are all used to. Our evening was enhanced by a DJ playing Lovers Rock, Rocksteady, Reggae etc (Saturday evening). We are looking forward to next visit.
Popped in here early evening on a Saturday. The food menu is written on a white board propped up on the bar which is very handy because as dishes become unavailable they are wiped from the board. Very popular (because by the time my husband and I arrived there were plenty gaps on the menu)! I chose saltfish, rice peas and my husband opted for the jerk chicken, rice peas. Huge delicious home made portions served in an informal bar setting with red stipe other lagers are available on tap to wash it all down. Nice to go somewhere unique with friendly regulars enjoying a warm summer's evening in a British Caribbean pub!
I liked the chicken and the fish and chips, both were delicious! I think the food is Jamaican styled, highly recommeded
Nice little pub on Park Street that really know how to throw a Caribbean style birthday bash. Delicious food great tunez and a great atmosphere ...and of course very friendly/approachable staff who even remembered what I was drinking when I went up to the bar
