Wild River Ab - Lycksele

It's a bit to walk there from Umeå (ca. 1,5 h) but the view is wonderful, the personnel is very, very nice, explaining the menu, giving wine suggestions and so on. The food is also good. I warmly recommend the place!

This was the best restaurant experience I can remember. The menu was limited but featured carefully chosen local ingredients that came together to create truly magical dishes. The venison was the best I have ever tasted, and the dessert was exquisite with flavors I never knew existed, presented in a beautiful and artistic way. The variety of delicious beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, accompanied the meal perfectly. The service was extremely friendly as well. Surprisingly, the prices were not exorbitant, making it a great value for the quality of food and service. It's a fantastic place that was well worth the drive from Umeå. We will definitely be returning next year.

We attended a business dinner at this restaurant and everything was fantastic! The vegetarian dishes were excellent and the desserts were even better.

We had high expectations and they were exceeded. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is friendly, relaxed, and impeccable. The food is amazing, made with beautiful local ingredients that delighted our taste buds. The Hecht-Quenelle dish was a standout, but it must be booked in advance and is only available in the summer. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you!
