The Cornish Bakery - Lyme Regis

We dived here on a very wet day. a friendly reception and fortunately we could have a table for 5. pasties were hot and all really delicious especially the vegan flower cauliflower and bhaji pasty had my veggie daughter (which we all tried because it was so delicious. we had the great chairs that were very comfortable and then there are more chairs on most tables by default. dog-friendly, so we were under the table. everything was clean and tidy and staff very helpful. we looked at us when we ate, it was a super busy day, but the personal was amazingly calm and concentrated. it was quite amazing to actually observe how they almost danced around themselves to do their various tasks behind the counter. never a crossword and cheerful. a really tight, well run space. oh and the toilet was super clean and beautiful (although the hand dryer didn't work, it is worth fixing the! . super space and absolutely recommended.

This bakery is fantastic! The staff is extremely friendly, and the pastries are absolutely delicious. We've made it a point to visit every day of our holiday. Highly recommended—thank you!

We enjoyed coffee and cake today, and it was wonderful to be welcomed with big smiles and excellent customer service. We will definitely make another trip there in the future. A big thank you to all the staff for a fantastic experience! We were on our motorcycle, and we had a lovely conversation with a lady who shared a common bond with us as a fellow rider in her past.

I had an excellent Cornish pasty, a steak and Stilton pasty, and a truly fantastic tortilla. The coffee latte made by the wonderful Carol was also outstanding. Many thanks—highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back!

Great choice, Covid safe. Pleasant and efficient service. We were very happy with a Chicken Tikka Pasty and Almond Cherry Croissant. They tasted great and we were happy with the value.
