Contribuer aux commentairesFood was excellent; fresh and tasty. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is homey with local working folk coming in for lunch. You gotta try the lace cornbread. Slap-yo-mama good!
Had the meatloaf, green beans, fried cornbread, okra and banana pudding, everything was great, would definitely come back.
The staff is always friendly here. Their fried chicken, so good. And they are the only place in Macon that has fried corn bread. Not a hoe cake, fried corn bread. The cabbage could have used a bit more flavor. It could seem a bit sketchy at first but the food is worth it.
