Baristo - Madeleine (La)

Nous sommes venus ici en famille pour dîner pendant nos vacances. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la nourriture, l'ambiance et le service. Nous reviendrons !

Le serveur était très sympathique et nous a accueillis chaleureusement. Le menu proposait de nombreuses options délicieuses, ce qui rendait le choix difficile. J'ai opté pour le Baristo, que je recommande vivement. L'atmosphère est calme et paisible. Pas trop bondé. Un endroit idéal pour manger à Lille où vous pouvez profiter de la nourriture et des amis.

J'ai visité cet endroit un mercredi soir en début de soirée. Il n'était pas bondé, mais assez rempli. J'ai été impressionné par le serveur qui travaillait seul et qui a réussi à gérer toutes les commandes rapidement tout en accordant suffisamment d'attention à tous les clients. De plus, il parlait anglais et a aidé à traduire le menu. La nourriture est bonne, mais pas extraordinaire. L'intérieur est intéressant et l'ambiance agréable. Je le recommande vivement.

Foreigners can not purchase alcohol at this bar. My boyfriend (who is a Danish/American citizen) and myself (Australian) were rudely denied alcohol before a Pats game, even with valid photo id... We were told that they do not accept foreign id (even passports), meaning that only American Citizens can be served. Very dissapointed and offended by this establishment. Will definitely not be coming back.

We visited here twice during our 5 day visit in September 2019. First time was for lunch and if you love pizza you are in for a treat!! It was just perfect. We also visited on Saturday night for our final meal in Lille and to say we were treated like royalty does not even come close! The owner/waitress helped us choose the wine which is very reasonably priced and tastes suberb! Hubby had steak which was so full of flavour and grilled to perfection. My saltimbocca was just out off this world and the pasta accompaniment was sublime. It is definately on our list on our return visit in December. If you love relaxed dining on comfy seating in a fabulous relaxed restaurant with fantastic food make sure you go here. Unlike other restaurants in Lille which are tourist traps this place is in a league of its own!! A must visit in Lille! Thank you again for a memorable evening with amazing food and wine.
