Enoteca Maglia - Majorna

The prices here are slightly higher due to its suburban location, reflecting the restaurant's ambitious approach. While the service was generally welcoming, there were occasional lapses in attention. The food showcased skilled craftsmanship, with a standout dish being the herb stir-fry served with Focaccia bread. Some may find the departure from traditional Italian flavors refreshing, though purists may disagree. However, one downside was the lack of a wine list, with servers offering recommendations without pricing information. Unfortunately, the recommended Barolon wine did not pair well with the meal.

We had made a reservation at this restaurant and even received a confirmation text. However, when we arrived at the reserved time, they claimed to have no record of our reservation and refused to seat us, despite us showing them the confirmation text. This resulted in us wasting money on two expensive taxi rides and left us feeling extremely frustrated. The service we received was absolutely terrible and we would not recommend this business to anyone.

The atmosphere and setting of the restaurant are nice. However, the staff could benefit from a crash course in customer care. It may be worth sending the management for some training as well. The prices are in line with the snobbish attitude, so it might be a better choice to dine elsewhere.

We passed here for dinner. The food came very fast, very nice flavors. Extra plus for the friendly service by the waiter who forgot my wine but compensated with coffe and dessert, which was very tasty! We would come back for more.
