Food n Joy - Malappuram

The restaurant had a beautiful atmosphere, but the service and management were very poor. The food was below average, with long wait times for the starter and disappointing taste. Halfway through our meal, the power went out and we were left in darkness until we left. There was no generator set up. When the bill arrived, they brought a flashlight instead. The meal was also expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am not sure about the past, but this is the current situation.

I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant about a year ago when I visited the hotel. However, upon revisiting this time, I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. The overall experience was not up to par with my previous visit, as there was a noticeable decline in both the food quality and the level of service provided.

Stopped over for dinner on the way back from Wayanad. Spacious parking and spread out restaurant joint but the food and service was a far cry. Right from the time order was taken the experience was dull. Food came in instalments for the group and...their speciality chicken in arabic was the biggest dissappointment, the fish was douse in oil killing the taste of the fresh fish. Though lot of money has gone into making this place the management is really not what should be. Little focus on quality of food and servic ecan turn this place around

Located on NH 17, I have been to his hotel about 15 months back on one of my trips. This time, when i was looking for a restaurant to have dinner with my wife and 20 month year old son, I decided to give Food...n Joy, another visit. It was a Sunday evening and therefore the restaurant was busy. As i entered the restaurant I noticed that the cleanliness of the restaurant has dipped sharply. The table cloth was filthy, the floor looked as if it has not been cleaned for a while and the washrooms were even worse. I decided to skip having dinner and opted to get something to drink. I ordered for fresh lime juice and a coffee for my wife. After a long wait of 20 min and repeated queries about the order, the juice and coffee was served. The lime juice had too much sugar and was not pleasant to drink. And the coffee... well we were served tea and not coffee... I pointed out the mistake to the bearer and he said he will change it. After another 5 min, the coffee arrived and it was not worth the wait. We wanted the coffee to be strong which it was , but then you had sugar dumped into it... My wife could not drink it.... Disappointed and having lost half an hour we walked out of the restaurant.
