I also asked for the table to be available for longer than an hour. We were given a private dining room, and the service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food. I will definitely return and I highly recommend this restaurant!
Very cozy, nice and old-fashioned decorated restaurant and due to the location (halfway into a train station), it is obvious to compare with Train Bleue in Paris, but besides the location there is absolutely no similarity! Perhaps it is not fair to review based on only one (of just 4 available) course of the day lunch courses, but still they DID serve a very ordinary lamb fillet, which was not cooked as demanded: The medium fillet was close to well done, the sauce was way too salty and they had done absolutely nothing to make the course look delicious. If you are in a hurry, Bistro Royal is a great place to go, as the food was served in less than 10 minutes. On the other hand, the female waiter was very nice, personal and very attentive.
We stopped here while waiting for our train after reading the excellent reviews. The food was very tasty, but the portions were small and the prices seemed a bit high for the amount of food we received.
This restaurant offers a great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious Swedish cuisine. Its convenient location near the sea allows you to enjoy a scenic tour after enjoying your meal.
Nice environment, good friendly staff, we ordered 3 courses. the starters were very good, 2 of the main courses were good but one of them the meat was gummy. all in all, recommended for a night out.
