Put simply, Giorgio 's not only had the best tasting food during my and my boyfriend 's short stay in Manchester, but were also by far and away the most accommodating and friendly! When we walked in it was clearly extremely busy, yet the front of house staff quickly ushered us over to a small table in the back corner where we were asked to look at the menu while they cleared a more suitable dining space for us, which occurred mere minutes later. The food was phenomenal. Now granted, neither of us have tried authentic Italian before, however we 're pretty sure it 's about as good as it gets! If you 're concerned about the price (as we were, this was very much a treat for us), then the Pre-Theater menu is definitely one to consider, and was in fact where we ordered from. The complimentary garlic bread served before our starters was so good it has now ruined garlic bread for us, as we know we shan 't be having anything that good for a while now, and both of our starters and mains were absolutely to die for. The portion sizes were more than generous too, resorting to us having to ask for the rest of our meal to be put into 'to go ' containers! To the staff at Giorgio 's, (I wish I was better at remembering names! My apologies) thank you so much for a truly wonderful experience. Should we ever find ourselves in Manchester again you can bet we 'll be planning our trip around a second visit!
Great Italian food and service and we had been before BUT the prices have sky rocketed and too expensive. Ribs for starters £9.95 very tasty but not enough for the money. Only 3 ribs with little on them. Main course Lasagna again great food but £16.95 a bit steep. Would have had Steak but at over £34 Errr no! Other than that a good Italian restaurant! The prices may stop us again.
We found this gem of a restaurant whilst looking for a pre theatre dinner and what a delight it was. I have never been so warmly welcomed. The food was delicious, wine perfect and the customer service second to none. The manager was exceptional. Thank you! Both my daughter and I can’t wait to return and would both highly recommend.
Called in unexpectedly (due to rain) and found this gem of a restaurant on way to the Palace Theatre took advantage of their pre-theatre menu. Excellent customer service, a warm welcome wet coats taken, all with a smile. The food was great portions huge. A wonderful treat! Just remember drinks are not included in the pre-theatre menu but we had a wonderful meal excellent service. Thoroughly recommend it's just round the corner from the Palace Theatre if you are visiting Manchester to see Hamilton!!
