Coral - Mangalore

A year ago, I had fond memories of this place. This year in 2023 marks the worst and absolutely nightmare of a place. Food was not on time, no server asking for orders, no one to talk to with a smile and absolutely worst customer service. The fish thali I order was extra spicy, so much so that as a fellow mangalorean I was abhorred by the food. The crabs smelled like they were never washed. The fish thali had so much salt, felt like they dumped the entire sea there. The rasam was cold, the beans was cold, the curry was just overbooked thick gravy. You would expect a mixed restaurant to serve a veg thali just as when they are serving a non veg thali, but seems like vegetarians are a dime a dozen. The Naan we order was cold, hard and rubbery. We sent it back and They did not replace it but just reheated it on a microwave. Yes, as customers we know the difference between fresh and reheated food. The only three things which came on time was the lime soda, the beer and the bill. All of which was not their job. Overall, I would avoid this place going forward. It used to be a good haunt. Now it's just a skeleton of what it used to be. Not upto standard for the price... overly oily and poorly prepared... very disappointed

Ruce used was different n the taste was different.. it didn't look like Karavali Biriyani which we had ordered earlier..
