Very hip and cute cafe in Mannheim. Friendly and good service. But they only have one beer that is Peroni. Wish they serve something from tap too in the near future. Other than that a cool place to spend an evening. The place is all about good vibes. Give it a try!
We had a very nice Sunday breakfast here. Friendly and competent service.
My wife and I ate something after leaving the café cult. We had already searched for alternatives at Eve. Café Lido just stabbed us. At Cafe Lido we went up the stairs, we are not respected first by a man and a younger lady. The Lord had all his hands full to do and directed a chic cheese plate (which we should not find later on the map). The lady's got something. We then pointed out that we would like to have breakfast and point to the one place that seemed free. Wait a minute. After a minute, a blond woman came, probably the boss, and asked us if we wanted to sit outside. We wanted... we sat right in Seckenheimer Straße. We were then quickly brought the menus, there are 4 different breakfasts available. Small Lido breakfast 10,90, large Lido breakfast 15,90. Alternatively, a covered bread with eggs 9,90 or the Ciabatta bread with tomatoes, also 9,90. Here too we immediately asked if at the high prices for breakfast there is at least one hot drink. No, everything goes extra, we added everything quickly in our head. Breakfast, extra eggs, extra coffee, extra O juice, extra champagne or sampus, here we come very quickly to 30-40 euros per nose. We felt kind of charred. Like a comparison, in Poco you can also enjoy wonderful breakfast. 2 rolls, agitator, cups of coffee, sausage cheese together for 1.90, or in the Adriatic with cappuccino, agitator, tomatoes and mozzarella, even baked rolls 4.90. My wife and I looked appalled again, come and go to town. There I had a large milk coffee (in Lido 4,90 extr), egg, 2 reels, salami, cheese, sausage, butter, jam for 5,10. That's good, and even there the place makes a profit. One could almost think that the Lido and the coffee cult belong to an operator, among the overprices 25 euros for a normal breakfast ....
