Came the other month for birthday meal with the girls food was lovely and filling staff went above and beyond to help me get unstuck out of the toilet. When visiting again I shall be back x
I had lunch here last Saturday , was a great Experience , great food and people.
Beautiful restaurant, modern and cosy. Very friendly service an good selection of starters, mains, pizza and desserts.
Was tempted by this restaurant after seeing online pictures. Stopped in for breakfast and the place looked as nice in person as the pictures. There are 2 entrances, which I didn’t realise till after. One takes you into the restaurant area and the other into a cafe. We were seated straight away, the place was quite busy for a weekday morning so obviously popular with the locals. The menu has a good selection and I decided on the waffles with bacon and maple syrup. There was a little bit of a wait for the food which suggested everything was being freshly prepared and when it arrived it did look appetising. There was a good amount of pancakes and maple syrup but sadly there was only 3 strips of bacon and once I’d removed the (not crispy) fat there wasn’t near enough bacon left for the amount of pancakes. It would have been nicer if the bacon had been more crisp also. It was the pancakes that were the real letdown though. They were rubbery and tasted very eggy. Now admittedly there are many ways of making pancakes and they don’t all end up fluffy and light but personally I don’t want a pancake that tastes like scrambled egg and requires significant chewing, especially as the price wasn’t cheap. My companion ordered the eggs Benedict and rated it average also, lacked seasoning and was served lukewarm. All in all this was an ok breakfast but I wouldn’t be rushing back.
