I'm not sure I needed so long to try the steamed buns at char’d, but I'm pretty upset that I didn't wound earlier. I think they'll probably be gooey, but how wrong I was. I have made a picture from the bottom to show them they are a little brown. they can taste a hauch of sweet in the actual rolls. I got that huh and I wasn't disappointed at all. I ordered my shrimp spring rolls, of course, because you just have to.
I live this place! It's like building a Poke bowl but with Thai ingredients!! And you can do vegan/vegetarian. I recommend build your own spring rolls and bao buns with mushrooms as the protein.
Decent dinner, I originally thought it was a little pricey but the amount of food made up for it. The quality of food seemed average not really amazing, could tell some of the items were canned which I guess makes sense with the different items on the menu. It looks like an attempt to be the Asian bowl place similar to the large Mexican and Chinese bowl chains but it's tries to cover many of the Asian cuisine flavors so instead of having a couple of solid hits, its all just mediocre.
Just discovered this yummy place that serves amazing fresh poke bowls ? They also have customized bowls. Portions excellent. I will make this place my come to for a quick bite. Much better than buying fried food that's so abundant in Texas. I wish I had taken pictures. I'll definitely post pictures next time I return.
