The Scottish Arms - Mar del plata

Great food, and one of the best whisky selections in North America.

Went here before a show at the Fox. Only small complaint is that our main meal came out when we had barely touch our French onion soup and incredible Mediterranean salad. The bartender put our fish n chips back under the lamp. Everything was fine. Excellent food, cool atmosphere, great service.

I’ve always really enjoyed this place — unique food, intimate atmosphere, great drinks. The Duck Breast Wellington is so good that I think about it multiple times a week. Lately though, we’ve left the Scottish Arms hungry on several occasions due to the portion sizes. I understand it’s very difficult to be a restaurant right now, and I want to support my favorites. But when the bill is over $150 (for two with drinks) and we’re leaving hungry after appetizers and entrees, it’s tough to do that. … – show

Awesome. Everytime. Good food, great whiskey, awesome staff. My home away from home.

The environment is nice (which is why I gave an extra star for) but kind of disappointed. We waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to take out order. Watched a bunch of people come in after us with drinks and food way before us. The waiter seemed like he didn’t really want to help us after my bf spoke with someone TWICE to finally get someone to help us. Also the more flavorless food I ever had.
