Unbelievable disappointment. Eating was disgustingly boiled pasta covered with terrible “Alfredo” sauce. The service was awfully lasted 20 minutes so that the server “remember” my glass of wine. What they call an 8oz fillet was a frozen small drop of rare meat (I asked for medium). The side at the bar to the back is dark and so hot and this is only March! Lobster is warm water lobster not cold water there is a big difference FYI.
I had a friend visiting from Texas who was craving seafood, so I immediately knew where to go. We drove from Big Pine and were seated quickly, even though we arrived before our reservation time. Our server Breenen was excellent, making sure we had a great dining experience. This place is a must-visit if you have friends visiting the Florida Keys.
In the neighborhood, there is a restaurant that serves very fresh fish with generous portions. We tried the sushi, which was good, but the fish was slightly warm for my liking. The poke bowl was really delicious, with large pieces of tuna. My son ordered the filet, which was average. My wife enjoyed the Mahi, although it wasn't outstanding. The wine we ordered was warmer than room temperature. The service was very good and attentive. The atmosphere can be described as reminiscent of Western Sizzlin' with an ocean theme.
Excellent food and service. Book in advance as this is a great restaurant and always packed. Kara our server was simply fantastic
