There are not many fast food places in the area so I usually come here to grab quick lunch. Quick being the key word because they are anything but quick. Expect to wait 10-15 every time. Half of the staff seem to be having conversations with each other and not doing anything. I've never had to consistently wait this long at a fast food place repeatedly every single time I come.
Fries were cold and old as if they had been sitting under under the light for a while. Burger was very dry and also not hot or freshly made. I went through the drive through and food was placed into a bag. I had to honk my horn to ask for ketchup. I would have gladly waited for new food to be prepared had they asked me because food would have been wonderful if freshly prepared.
I live right down the road from this location. Service has been consistently so bad recently that I felt like I need to write a review. It takes FOREVER to get your food here. I just waited in line for 10 min with only one car in front of me. Nobody was even inside. Nobody else there. And.. it’s always like this. Consistently slow, every. single. time. If by the off chance I get my food under 10 min, then will have given me the wrong order.
[Sit back and grab coffee or a drink, this is a long one] This is my first one star rating and it is well deserved for this store. I have eaten at a lot of Wendy 's chains around the nation and always they are consistent. By consistent I mean fast service, HOT burgers fresh off the griddle, and fresh fries. I don 't always expect fresh fries during off hours when sales are down, but during the peak lunch hour when fries are constantly moving, I most certainly do. Well this particular store failed all three miserably DURING a lunch rush hour (for me it was around 12:45 PM). First, the drive thru line was nearly to the street. So I had to wait to even get into the parking lot to find a place to park and go in. No way was I going to burn gas with that slow moving line. Second, when I walked in, there were only three customers in front of me. I thought Okay cool I 'll be out of here in no time. Then I started watching the ONLY order taker there at the counter. She was slow moving, seemed to struggle to figure out where to go for things, and just did not know how to move traffic. But it would not have mattered as I observed the kitchen operations. Those people were about as slow as any so called team of fast food workers I 've ever seen. In store customers were waiting on average of 16 minutes between walking up to the line and actually getting their food. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE DURING LUNCH RUSH HOUR AT ANY FAST FOOD JOINT!!! As stated, I have been to a lot of Wendy 's locations and they have handled four times the amount of in store customers four times faster. Let alone moving the drive thru faster. This location is broken seven ways to Sunday. The owner needs to go visit the location a few miles north at the intersection of Sandy Plains and Shallowford to see how it 's SUPPOSED to be done RIGHT. Now for the food review: the burger was NOT fresh nor was the bun. The burger patty was like something you 'd get at a high school ball game stand sitting in a foil bag under a heat lamp. The cheese was not even melted! WTH? Not only that, but the bun was nearly stale, and the fries were cold and soggy. At least the Barq 's Root Beer was good right up until the ice started melting and watering it down during my eight minute wait *after* ordering the food (yes it took eight minutes to wait on three people to place orders in front of me). That was the worst $6 and some change I ever wasted on fast food. ANYWHERE. My only regret was not taking photos of how horrid the food quality was. But I was starving. While I was there, I witnessed one walkout and two drivers leave the line. I spoke with a lady who was still waiting on her food after 10 minutes. A SALAD that all they did was pull it out of a cooler and add the dressing to the bag. She works in an office park across the street and told me nobody goes here because they lose too much time on the half hour her office gets for lunch. That office can 't be alone in the area. This store is bleeding sales. So either the owner (I assume this is not a corporate owned store) does not care or is not aware of this embarrassment of the Wendy 's brand. I reported my experience to Wendy 's corporate through their website Contact Us portal. Don 't call fill out the form in their website under the category of Complaint! Get a record of your complaint on file and leave your contact information. I have yet to hear back from them and it 's been two days. The next step you can take if no action/response is to take it to Wendy 's corporate Twitter and Facebook pages. If anyone in corporate cares, they 'll take action on this failing store. I don 't even want to know what their food safety inspection status is because I saw multiple violations there as well...as others have brought up here.
