Nice food, just a slight mix up with the order. My partner doesn't like cucumber, and this was noted next to his order, but the cucumber was put on his plate and left off mine. Reasonably priced, quick service. Staff were chatty.
I originally visited for a drink, and I was accompanied by a mother and her two special needs children. One of the kids has a gluten intolerance, and I was delighted to learn that the restaurant offered gluten-free bread. This prompted us to decide on brunch instead! Our server, Ben, was outstanding—extremely helpful and cheerful. The food was excellent, and I can’t praise this café enough for its personal touch. Thank you for such a lovely experience! If we didn’t live so far away, we would definitely become regulars. We're very satisfied!
This charming little café offers excellent food, friendly staff, and great value. However, a few minor adjustments could elevate the experience even further. While I’m not sure how many cyclists visit, it would be ideal to have a bike rack outside for secure parking. Additionally, although we were well taken care of, there was some chatter near the door that could be distracting. The idea of a warm and cozy café on a cold, wintry day is truly inviting, and creating an atmosphere that feels open and welcoming should not be overlooked. Overall, it's a delightful spot worth a visit.
It's a lovely spot to enjoy a cappuccino and a tea cake, and the owners are always there to greet you warmly.
