OK: The shrimps smell and tasted a little fishy, the chicken came dry, but they have made it new and it was good, shrimp fatuccine alfredo was okay, but additional sauce made it good. BAD: Strawberry Daiquiri and Pina Colada had with little alcohol in it they tasted virgin. Did not have many vegetables on the menu. The normal vegetables like capers and spinach missed. UGLY: none, about all a great meal and experience.
The Casa is, hands down, my favorite restaurant in the world. This is a real problem as I'm near Lansing, Michigan, and the Casa is located in Marquette. But my wife and I had the opportunity to spend some time in Marquette last week and took advantage of our time there and ended with dinner in the Casa three nights in a row! So what makes it my favorite? First, Casa is a very nice restaurant. Elegant, without being tired. It's perfect for a date night, but it wouldn't be a bad choice for the whole family. Your menu is of course Italian. But it is authentic Italian, with any dish that matches its heritage. In my opinion, two articles, a menu without bad choices, which are outstanding outside the borders, are the bread and its meat sauce. The bread usually comes to any meal. It is a medium sized foliage, suitable for sharing (but you do not want), literally soaked in butter. There's nothing like this bread everywhere. I can't stress enough how the bread is above. And second, the meat sauce. I usually order spaghetti and choose the meat sauce to go with it. It's great! Without question, the best spaghetti I've ever had. Our server, different every night, was always prompt, friendly and very attentive. Bottom line, the ambience is right, the service is right, the prices are right, and the food is excellent. A simple and well-earned five stars. I wish I lived there.
So happy we stopped! The meatballs should die. I would recommend it in meat sauce about your choice of pasta. The garlic bread is just as good as everyone has mentioned; really like its marinara too. The Alfredo was okay, but I would definitely be stuck with the red sauce, as it was on top! Very nice place and delicious.
Oh, my! You can make big parties without reservation on Thursday evening. However, I would recommend a reservation. All we tried was delicious and the garlic bread is the best. They brought us 6 grand thick slices that we couldn't even eat. They took them home and the next day really warmed up and this is the 3rd. Hello! Hehe The waiting staff is super friendly, cheerful and they know the menu and make great recommendations. Place for the desert too.
Great place to go for a date night, or celebratory dinner. We went out without kids (first time in probably 2 years) and it was perfect. COVID has impacted their menu options slightly but that's not their fault. The staff are extremely kind and respectful. Steaks were cooked and seasoning perfectly. Maybe in another 2 years we can get another night away from the kids and return for another meal to celebrate every special occasion that gets pushed aside during that 2 year period.
