We waited at the door for over five minutes without being greeted, and then waited over five minutes for a table before someone finally helped us (a basic fail in restaurant etiquette). They had a cool marketing idea with pig nose social media and large screen TVs showcasing menu items. When the waitress eventually came by, she apologized for the wait. I ordered the Carnegie PoBoy and my friend ordered the meatloaf. However, when the food arrived, the waitress forgot my order. The atmosphere was standard for a brewery pub, not too loud. After waiting 30 minutes for our food, I was unsure if they were understaffed. Despite these issues, I give the restaurant four stars because the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the potato salad and perfectly cooked green beans. Overall, while there are plenty of dining options in Cranberry, this place is worth a visit for locals.
Update: During my second visit with my family, we were happy to find a large children's menu available. My significant other really enjoyed her burger, while I went with the Pig Iron Burger once again. Everyone was satisfied with their meals, and the service was excellent. Pig Iron has now made it onto my list of favorite restaurants.
Came for lunch. The service was very good as the food. Freshly cut pommes are in a place like this and they were very good. Burger was also big and very good. Atmosphere is casual-industrial. The beer cannot comment, but they have a ton.
Fun place to visit! They offer a fantastic selection of beers and the food is delicious. It's kid-friendly too! We came for lunch and didn't have to wait long, even though some tables were occupied. The staff were very friendly and attentive. You can also buy some of their products to take home for a good price. Definitely a great spot to check out!
Went to Pig Iron for brunch today. We had the Candied Maple bacon which was quite tasty. I had the Tomato Egg Grilled Cheese. We waited about 20 minutes for the main course and when it arrived, it was cold...but the breakfast potatoes were so good that I am able to partially forgive the temp.
