My chicken filo parcel was so not worth the price tag, part if which i could not eat due to an intensity of sun dried tomato. And the amount of chicken inside the parcel did not reflect the price tag. The meal was however nicely presented, but that's kind of where it stopped.
First visit, beautiful décor and comfortable feel, large windows making the place spacious and airy. Staff friendly and attentive. Food on the expensive side and fair. The seafood risotto could have had a side salad or some vegetables as was only tomato risotto and seafood, a bit lacking. Garlic bread did not have much taste of garlic but nice enough. The best thing was the bottle of "Tin Cottage" wine from New Zealand.
Staff were very friendly & attentive entree's were good and arrived quiet quickly we then asked for our mains to be delayed for 10-15 min only to be told they were already plated & ready to be served, once the entrée has been served they automatically start to prepare the mains. We were in & out in know time. Which was a shame as the mains were more than acceptable it was all a bit rushed.
Fine dining at its best. You are pampered and staff are courteous and attentive. The menu is great and the food delicious. Beautiful decor brings an ambiance to this lovely upstairs restaurant. Ring to make sure it is open as it is not open every evening.
Staying at McNevins we decided to eat in. SO pleased we did. What a pleasant atmosphere, spacious soft lighting and white table linen. The waitress was just lovely and very attentive Dinner was perfect with my husband choosing the eye fillet and myself the lamb rump. MY request to change the menu accompaniments was no problem at all. dessert was absolutely delicious (white chocolate mud cake). highly recommend for a pleasant elegant dinner.
