Agriturismo Frantoio Di Croci

On our last day in Tuscany, we stopped at this olive farm to buy olive oil and bring some back to the USA. The farm is located off the beaten path in a tiny little village that looked as though it was straight from a movie set it was so quaint, rustic and had breath taking views. When we finally arrived at the top of this location, we saw olive groves and lemon trees heavy with their fruitage. It was amazing! I thought I knew what fresh olive oil tasted like, but I was wrong. When we opened the bottle to sample this oil, it was fruity and our tongues danced as we rolled this precious fluid around in our mouths. Incredible!! I particularly loved the lemon and chili infused olive oil. We are now rationing out the oil we brought back with us because it will be along time before we can purchase more. The next time we will visit the restaurant.

Menù da 25€ tutto ottimo e con porzioni generose...fiorentina cotta alla perfezione e molto tenera...esperienza da ripetere sicuramente...eccellente!
