Island Jerk Chicken - Matteson

The food is not good at all. It's not hot. They? Did Yams know? They taste like they came out of a can. Macaroni's not too bad. The Jerk Tacos were even evil, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. That was my first and last time here. Customer service was nice. Many workers, but slow pace. So the customer service I?d give an 8 but the food a 2

By far the worst?jerk? Restaurant in the southern suburbs. Too much vinegar and salt in everything. The brown stew chicken tasted like vinegar, rice and beans were dry and a strange consistency, the Mac and cheese was almost good, but too much salt and seemed like no pepper. And white bread? I want you better?

The pages are not good at all. I'll give them another chance. Maybe I'll try. (chicken was good)

The chicken tacos are always tasty. Not a big fan of the sides but that?s just my opinion. Only bad thing to say is when I ordered cabbage I received greens, buts that close enough. Also ordered an Apple cobbler my oh my was it delicious, definitely getting that again for sure.

One of my go-to places to grab something to eat. fantastic location, well organised, and excellent service. Highly recommended!
