I made the incorrect assumption that the price point of the meals meant it should have been the best meal with the best ingredients. It was not. In fact, it may have been one of the worst meals I've ever had. The Romain lettuce in the Cesar salad was actually incredibly fresh so they get one star for that and one star for the double rainbow outside. I ordered the garden herb pasta, added shrimp for another $11 and got Four over-cooked shrimp on top of tooo much melted cheese. Taste was fine, nothing exceptional and definitely not worth $34. Sister ordered the chicken piccata. Mushrooms weren't even cooked, thrown on as an afterthought. The artichokes were flavorless and straight from a can and it was packed with olives. I've never heard of a piccata with olives. I did go back and read the online menu and it did state it had olives. Probably a dozen olives and about four little capers. The pasta was undercooked and the sauce was far too wine-y. Uncle had the rack of lamb. Meant to be medium rate. About half came medium rare and the others medium. Lamb is meant to be medium rare which is why the menu specified it would be medium rare. He didn't touch the mashed potatoes that came with it so I cannot report how bad they may have been. The potatoes looked like they were from last week. No dessert. Price of a piece of cake was $10. Which could buy a whole cake. Server was fine, friendly enough but the young hostess was having a bad day as she ignored us at least three separate times. In summation, if you like overpaying for less than mediocre food, this place is for you!
After reading the some of the reviews my husband i still decided to give this place a shot. we are not usually ones to even take the time to write negative reviews but this place was something else. we decided to sit at the bar vs a table (usually you get faster service that way) when we sat down and bumped the bar there was a swarm of what seemed to be fruit flies ... but not just a couple they were EVERYWHERE , it was absolutely disgusting. looking behind the bar there were open bottles of beer 3 4 of the way drank sitting there , glasses of soda and the fruit tray (where they get the garnishes for your $16 cocktails) all left open and exposed. we decided that we would move to the other end of the bar , the side closest to the kitchen. fruit flies were no better at that end and there was a tray of old , half eaten food sitting there as well as 5 dirty tables that had not been cleaned off the entire time we sat there (which was probably 30 minutes) this does not seem like a long time but there were other guests sitting at those tables near there with these nasty little bugs all over , absolutely disgusting. there were also those sticky fly traps hanging behind the taps .... think about that when you are ordering a tap beer. i am seeing reviews left for this place 11 MOTNHS ago ! ALMOST A YEAR AGO saying that these flies were a problem .. that is awful and completely negligent on the owners managements part. we ended up leaving after our one bottle of beer , i could not imagine what the food would have been like or what that kitchen is like based off of the front of house .. probably 10X worse. i would avoid this place at all costs until these major health and sanitation issues resolved. it is really a shame because the building itself is beautiful and has a beautiful view but all and all if i could give this place 0 stars i would.
I don 't typically leave reviews but after this dining experience I felt obligated to share. The food is incredibly overpriced and of low quality. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Mediterranean and felt unwell after we left the restaurant. I also felt sick after ordering the fish and chips . Service was mediocre. I have had better dining experiences at the Target food court. If you don 't believe me give it a try, but don 't say I didn 't warn you.
Soy and gluten-free diner here! Happy Memorial Day everyone. I just ordered their gluten- free Salmon Salad Meredith with goat cheese and almond slices, and it was delicious! We will be back!
Nice atmosphere but the food was really not good. The scallops were very water logged and the crab cake was just lacking flavor and texture. We didn't finish either. Our bill had 2 beers, a lemonade, 2 cups of soup, the scallops and crab cakes with with tip it was over $80. Just wasn't worth it. Maybe because we were out of season that it wasn't great? But really we would not go back after that meal. I gave it a three for the view and the beauty inside. Service was also attentive.
