I never thought it could get any worse. I used to visit this restaurant frequently in college, and it used to be a great place. However, it's clear that they no longer care. When I went to pick up my veggie fried spring rolls, there was only one table with two customers in the entire restaurant. I ordered the spring rolls often, so I know how they should taste. Unfortunately, they were burnt! I understand that mistakes can happen, but when you have only two other guests in the place, there's no excuse for not fixing them. I was even late picking up my order, and the styrofoam container had melted holes in it from the hot rolls, so they had plenty of time to prepare a fresh batch. Over the last five years, the service has become progressively worse, but the food was still decent enough that takeout was worth it—until now. I'm not sure how this place is still in business; I haven't seen more than a handful of customers there in the past six years. I won't be returning.
I absolutely loved this place! I would rate it a perfect 10/10. The food was incredibly delicious—we had steamed pork dumplings and a bowl of beef steak pho. The prices were quite reasonable compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I've visited. The atmosphere was really nice, with a dark and quiet setting. The Thai bubble tea was fantastic as well! I will definitely be returning.
It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I had a craving for dim sum, which they definitely delivered on. I satisfied my chicken feet craving and also ordered Singaporean Meefun (星洲炒米) and Beef Ho Fun (干炒牛河). Both dishes were packed with flavor, and I would definitely come back for more. The server was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I also ordered a to-go dish of Chinese anchovy and chicken fried rice (咸鱼鸡粒炒饭), and it was delicious and authentic!
The noodles tasted like they had been boiled a few days ago. When we approached the owner about it, they said there would be no exchanges. We ended up leaving without even eating the noodles after paying.
