Vienna Hot Dogs - McHenry

Go somewhere else, went here for the first time a couple days ago and worker was staring me down the whole time i sat and ate, very weird service. Every table but a couple were dirty and greasy, Bathrooms were disgusting and food was average.

Always had great food , could do without the owner being as rude as he always is.The place is filthy , the light bulbs are burnt out half the menu is missing letters up on the wallBiggest issue is the vulgar music that was playing that he was singing along with. Because of the food being made fresh you have no choice to either listen and try to ignore or walk out. I felt bad for the 2 women ahead of me so I told them to wait outside and when their food was ready I would get them.The guy just doesn't care anymore

Food is always great. The gentleman who takes the orders is always friendly and courteous.

I was craving an Italian beef. And man this little place sure did deliver. Hot, wet and spicy just how I like em'. Will definitely go back again.

I was looking forward to my meal here based on the reviews for the gyro. For those that think this is the best they've had, I would say they need to get out a little further than Mchenry. This gyro was good, not great. The tzatziki.sauce wa lbs fair. It may have be homemade but failed on comparison to a place in libertyville and also one in Lake Zurich just to name a few that are not too far away. The fries were the skinny fries and were hot along with the rest of the plate. The pita was fresh and hot. My Dr.Pepper was calibrated well and overall I'm happy with the meal, but let's keep this in perspective. I would come back for this or to try something different.
