In the perfect destination dining wine region of McLaren Vale lies a casual and exceptional pizza place known as Pizzateca. By now you would have heard of their many collaborations bringing this goodness to the CBD and across Adelaide. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. As good as they are at each event the experience and flavours are at its fullest dining at the restaurant.
Amazing authentic food, friendly staff and a family style atmosphere. Loved it!The tomato base in the pizzas was out of this world good! Lovely to try the wine and grab a bottle for home afterwards.
Kept Simple and Kept Perfect<br/ <br/ It was their first open day after they 'd closed for holidays and the place was packed and I mean jam packed. I 'd booked a few weeks ahead, I knew exactly what to expect here when it came to crowds. Time and time again I 've been asked if I 'd been to Pizzateca which I would reply, 'No ' with an inward roll of the eyes. I automatically loathe places that the hordes are going to. I always feel they 're just trendy but not necessarily Good. I 've been disappointed many a time at these current 'go to ' places but you don 't know because I don 't tell you about them. *winky face*<br/ <br/ Want to read more? Click on the link in my bio. ;
Recently headed to Pizzateca for a weekend lunch. We had such a great day. The pizzas were delicious and the arrosticini were so good, so tasty. We were so well looked after, and there was more than enough food for us all. Wines made by Vito are great and the limoncello was a perfect end to a fab day. Watch out for the cool kids taking their photos on their famous shed wall! We will be back for sure.
Enjoyed the day immensely. Great pizzas, wine and atmosphere. The family day at the Sea and Vines festival was another lovely way to experience this winery and eatery. Casual and relaxed afternoon. Never disappoints.
