Unfortunately it was a rainy evening, so we didn't have much of a look. our waitress spoke excellent English and between her English and my German, we could understand all dishes on the menu. our waitress was simply lovely and helped make the evening so enjoyable. on their recommendation we ordered what was in the round a local fish sampler who came to begin with delicious salads. we have prepared two complete dinner dishes from various local fishes for different ways with noodles and kartoffels on the side. this dish was a perfect choice so we could taste various delicious fish dishes. we were too full to order dessert, but we hate to finish the evening so that we both ordered coffee. our waitress gave us every little cup of ice as tasty bites. a wonderful evening.
This hotel is a visitor of the lake of Consstance a.k.a. the location of the hotel is spectacular: on the back they have the wine mountains and right in front of the lake. it is a 5 mininute walk into the...beautiful medieval town of meersburg and only a few steps to the great thermal baths of meersburg. the hotel is really cozy and everyone is friendly and helpful. they can see that it is family-run and the personal well trained. the rooms are immaculate and very comfortable some with spectacular views of the lake. the owner michael off is the chef of the restaurant in the hotel and specializes in serving delicious fish from the sea all day fresh. we were really impressed by the eating creations no wonder that he got good presses from many restaurant guides. Overall we can only recommend this fabulous hotel and restaurant run professionally and with dedictation of family off.

We got two full dinner plates of various local fish prepared in different ways with noodles and potatoes on the side.
