Ive been here before and had a lovely meal, but for some reason on sunday, our food was unbearably spicy. Even the 2 dishes ordered as mild, including the korma, were very hot. I ordered medium, but after 2 mouthfuls i had to stop due to the discomfort. We all eat a lot of curry and have never eaten such spicy food. 2 of us took ours away and i tried to calm it down with yoghurt at home. Only one of us ate their whole meal out of 4. Such a shame after our previous visit, but would not risk going back in the future.
Ate here a coule of times this weekend, my first time sampling Melbourne Indian curries, this is a find, a small open restaurant, the food is great, the service is attentive and friendly. Lamb jalfrezi, was really tasty, spicy but the flavours come through, the little garlic nans coated in ghee were excellent, I can highly recommend their Goan fish curry. If you want authentic Indian food cooked to your requirement, eaten in an eclectic atmosphere then head here. I recommend this restaurant for great Indian food.
Went here for dinner. Food ok. Good portion size and very well presented. Could easily share dishes. Service good. Not the best curry I've ever had but a nice change from the normal hum drum of restaurants nearby.
Best curry I've had in ages. Family run and friendly. Very accommodating. The kulfi is a must! A hidden gem.
