We ordered a cake for my daughter's 1st birthday and it was simply incredible!!! I was amazed with the flavour. Matilda was so nice to communicate with. The whole experience was perfect. Cannot wait to try more of their cakes

I'm a big home baker myself, so I can appreciate the love and effort that goes into small artisnal bakeries and cake houses. It takes passion and patience to get up every day and produce delicious baked goods that are also appealing to the eye. Proof Bakehouse on busy Bridge Road is the perfect example of a little bakery cafe full of heart. The light space has several comfortable places to sit and enjoy a coffee and cake. The ambience is relaxed and the staff are chatty and friendly; and it's obvious they are passionate about their baked goods. <br/ <br/ With so many gorgeous treats on offer it was a difficult choice, but I finally settled on my favourite carrot cake, and a crack pie. The cake was beautiful and moist, filled with the aromatic spices that I love so much in carrot cake. The cream cheese frosting was light and fluffy, and we enjoyed this cake so much. <br/ <br/ The crack pie had a fabulous pastry crust, and that beautiful sweet filling that makes these pies so addictive. With a delicious caramel flavour, I could eat this all day long. Proof Bakehouse may be small, but it's so worth a visit, especially if you are fond of homemade cakes, tarts and cookies.

I ordered through Ubereats last night as I was craving a delicious cake. I ordered a slice of Tim tam cheesecake and a brownie. When I received my order they forgot the cheesecake! I was super disappointed as I was really looking forward to it-however it may have been Uber’s fault. Nevertheless, the brownie was delicious.<br/ <br/ Update: I’ve since ordered more times and the cake has been consistently delicious-sometimes you get a little extra something too. The giant cookie and carrot cake are my favourites.

What a gem! This is the perfect place to order a cake for a special occasion. The Tim Tam Mudcake was excellent and the Nutella/Kit Kat toppings were sublime. Thanks Isabelle for the cake and thanks for your great communication! Will come back again!

Ordered a tim tam baked cheesecake for a birthday at work and it was incredible! The whole experience was great. Isabelle is so lovely, helpful and quick to reply to messages. The cheesecake it self was amazing! Everyone loved it and it was nice and light (so good for morning tea). We had it delivered as well which made everything so easy for us. Can’t wait to order more and go into the actual shop to try more things!
