This restaurant is a calm and cheerful dining spot. They serve the finest Korean cuisine.
We ordered take away because it's local and we want to support businesses in our area during lockdown. We had the seafood pancake, spicy beef bibimbap and the Korean fried chicken. All the dishes were fantastic and we will definitely be using them again and look forward to being able to dine inside.
This restaurant is a cozy and pleasant place with very friendly staff. It is a great spot to relax, although they do not serve lettuce, they offer a delicious salad instead. The meal was budget-friendly as it came with rice. The skewers were fantastic and I would definitely return. It is also a lovely spot for a romantic date.
A very local Korean restaurant, the interior of SubiQ looks like it was previously a German pub with <br/ <br/ exposed brick and large wooden tables. They've made good use of the space, as tables go all the way through to the back, and they even have <br/ <br/ *Spicy Pork Bibimbap love stonepot bibimbap, it keeps everything hot and if you don't disturb the rice at the bottom, it will crisp up. The serving is quite big and the veggies on top are finely cut. It's served with the traditional sweet garlicky chilli sauce, but also with a sweet tangy soy sauce. Both go really well in the rice when you mix it up.<br/ <br/ It's served with complimentary side dishes, which a lot are pickled radish, red cabbage, kimchi and a potato mash. The pickles actually go really well with the heaviness of the bibimbap.<br/ <br/ While it's not charcoal BBQ, the sets are pretty good value and worth a go anyway.<br/ <br/ Service was very friendly!
