Terra Rossa Restaurant & Bar

When booking online you need to confirm that you will vacate table by a certain time (more than enough time for a relaxed meal). Table ready when arrived. Waiter advised that we were still in time for happy hour drinks. Good value there. All meals ordered (all the pasta's) were great. Fettuccine with lamb was highlight. Good atmosphere, decor, service and food. Definite recommend.

We went to Terra Rossa as it was in the Entertainment Book. We booked for 6.00pm on Dimmi but they could not find our booking when we arrived (luckily I had it saved on my phone, tip to all online bookers!) but seated us graciously anyway.We ordered from the pre theatre menu which was $35 for 2 courses and a glass of wine. The wine was Pinot Grigio which is good to stop the fight between the Sauv Blanc and Chardonnay punters, there was also a sparking (which was very good) and an excellent beer (according to the Husband).My companions ordered Arancini balls which were good except for only having ONE ball. I accept it is a reduced menu but 1 ball is a bit light on. I ordered Brushetta and asked for it lightly toasted which seems to be very difficult for restaurants, I don't want burnt bread! It arrived right on the edge of burnt but was very nice, a minute longer would have ruined it.The mains were a pizza, carbonara, & gnocchi. The Pizza was in the true Italian style of very little topping but was very tasty and more than enough to satisfy. The carbonara was excellent and my gnocchi was brilliant as well.The service was good and the place is very charming if a bit noisy early when the after work crowd were still there on a Friday night. Further back in the restaurant is a lovely fire and cozy seating area.We will definitely go back.

Nice ambience, warm, cosy, bit hip, Carbonara was good, as was the salad, good enough wine list. Still serving after 3pm which is great.

First and foremost 6 people all had excellent mealsThe menu doesn't state vegetarian and is largely in Italian so be careful.
