Nevertheless, the waitress was pleasant and while there was a...bit slowly arrived, that was eating exactly what we needed to continue our journeys.
If they are ever in melfort, this restaurant is a must. very clean and friendly and eating was fantastic. must taste the homemade mussels knower! the waitresses were amazing.
Eating the food asked how much the soup was, said the manager/water 5$ I said at this price I didn't want it! he went out from me and said he didn't appreciate me that his prizes were high, all I said. I didn't want it! I would not recommend this place if this is how rude the manager can be! I went out, I called and wanted to talk to him about it, his personal was even rougher for me and didn't let me talk to him, called twice, got rude staff both paintings! no nice staff. eating is not so amazing to visit either from earlier! better places to eat in melfort!
I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this restaurant in recent years. The cook never fails to run his mouth not caring who hears. I was here with my dad and I ordered no bacon (nbd) the cook put it on the plate, the waitress corrected...him and pissed off, then he said I don’t care tell her she’s getting the bacon anyway and kept mouthing off. The waitress continued to tell him that wasn’t necessary. The next time I was in my friend and I came in 30 minutes to close not realizing they closed so early at 8pm on a Thursday, she asked us if we wanted menus “because we close in like 20 minutes.” We got the menus and my friend decided to get soup because it would be quick and easy. I was still looking at the menu when she asked what soups they had and the waitress proceeded to remind us again that “we close in less than 20 minutes so they’ve been taken off for the day.” She brought us two teas instead of a tea and an ice water and then went back to the kitchen and we heard her tell the cook we were just two young girls and will probably just order burgers. We decided to leave as we just felt rushed and unwelcome. I’ve heard from plenty of other people that decide to just not go here anymore because of the earlier close times as well. Sad because the food is great.
This is probably the most popular place in Melfort to eat. We often meet friends there for a meal or a coffee.
