Collett Park Cafe - Mendip

This is a fantastic place to grab a coffee and relax. They provide blankets for sitting on the benches and it's a great spot to enjoy a light meal while watching the world pass by. There's also a nearby playground for children.

We brought our grandchildren to this park on a rainy and windy day. While the kids had ice cream, us adults treated ourselves to some delicious hot chocolate before taking a walk around the park. The server, a young lady, was very helpful.

The toasted sandwichs are really good, and coffee is not bad. As it is close to the playground, children can play in safety while parents can have a sit down and coffee, and keep an eye on their kids.

This park is well-maintained and features lovely landscaping and views. My children, aged 7 and 8, had a great time searching for fairy doors while we sat and enjoyed coffee and cake. The park is clean and peaceful, with students selling cakes for charity and singing in the bandstand adding to the relaxed atmosphere. A hidden gem.

The best idea and addition to our lovely park. Staff always friendly, great coffee and snacks. A lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee whilst the children are in the play area of the park
