This restaurant is listed as being handicap accessible. It is not. They do not have a handicap accessible door, in fact they have 2 doors that are pull open only, no automatic handicap door entrance. Also the bathroom is not handicap accessible. And it lists its parking lot as handicap accessible, but it doesn't actually have a parking lot. Street parking only.
Once I arrived, there were three customers, one of whom was part of a family of five, and they all received their meals. However, my order still hadn’t been served. After waiting for half an hour, a girl finally informed me that they were out of roast beef. This was at 5 o'clock. Frustrated, I asked for my money back and went to Jimmy John's, where I got six subs in just five minutes. The owner should ensure that the staff wears masks properly, especially when they are preparing food for customers. I also noticed that when the phone rang, they often ignored it, even though they were clearly available. This place could potentially earn a lot more if they had an adult supervising to teach these young workers how to properly care for their customers.
This restaurant is a very friendly and relaxing place to enjoy ice cream and large sandwiches at great prices. It’s conveniently located near the shore. Just a heads-up: make sure to bring cash or a check, though there is an ATM available on-site.
I really enjoy this place, but for some reason, they forgot to put cheese on my sub during my last visit, and it happened again today. I would appreciate it if they could pay more attention to this issue.
