As for the sweet and sour chicken, the sauce was thick like hair gel and had a soapy taste. The rice? Definitely a miss. Overall, it was a complete waste of money.
Really delicious food and great servings reasonably
It's Not been good the last 3 visits. Something has gone wrong. The quality has deteriorated badly in the recent months. We are both uncertain why. This Used to be the Best Szechuan north of Akron !
I worked for 20 years at a Chinese restaurant, which is the second most expensive restaurant in Hong Kong. I truly appreciate the expertise of the Master Chef there. Thank you!
My wife and I were in town and looking for a place to eat, and we stumbled upon this gem. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was—it's some of the best Chinese cuisine we've ever had, and we both really enjoy Chinese food. The restaurant is cozy and very clean. I was a bit taken aback to find that we were the only customers there on a Wednesday at 6:30, but I suppose it's better than having a crowded atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to play some background music, as the silence felt a bit off. I personally enjoy hearing Oriental music in these types of settings. Overall, I would call this place Mentor's best-kept secret!
