We really wanted to like this place. Reviews looked great, and our hotel provided a coupon for a 10% discount. The food was in fact very good, but we were more or less abandoned by the staff after taking our order. The appetizer came after about 30 min, which was long, but not yet a big concern. Our Primi Piatti (a couple nice pasta dishes), however, didn’t come until an hour and a half after we arrived. Far too long! We mentioned to the waitress that we were surprised how long it took. A half hour later they came and asked if we wanted dessert, having completely forgotten our Secondi Piatti (a meat dish). We reminded them about it and it came after another 15 min or so. My wife had a good view of the kitchen and noticed that one of the workers there was vaping. That wouldn’t normally be a huge red flag, but it made us wonder what the general state of the staff was tonight. Maybe this was one of those rare screw-ups that can happen at any restaurant. If so, we hope that posting a somewhat critical review helps them do a better job for others.
The best meal we have had in Italy. Just wonderful. From service to ambience to wine to food it was a delightful experience.
Local site in the main course of merano, a place chr exudes history, but revisited a little modern by the owner. The menu has different dishes between Veneto and Trentino, all very small. We took tris of cicchetti, gourmet spek, both very good, to follow 2 first good and to close an exceptional cheek. A good wine card, with many territorial presences and not, but at the right price. The impeccable service and the owner always available and present. A place to go back willingly. Book and go safely
Local under the arcades, renovated, pleasant music, friendly staff... Good food was not excisively expensive. Nice atmosphere. Better book. We took crispy polyp and pasta with rocket and burrata pesto... How sweet the sbrisolona and tiramisù. We spent, in two, 105 euros
