Metztli Mexican Taqueria - Meridian

I LOVE METZLI! I don’t know how this place isn’t more popular!! I normally get complimentary chips and salsa, the food is always bomb and the customers service is amazing : The best Mexican I eat is my grandma’s (shes from Jalisco , and this is quite comparable to her traditional food! I always highly recommend!

Husband and I enjoyed eating here so much! Delicious food and service was spot on. Worth the drive!

I hate to say it, but I don’t ever plan on going back. I got the chicken fajita dinner and the chicken was dry and tough. The vegetables tasted like they were precooked hours before and just warmed up in the microwave. Their liquor shelves were really bare and had to change my drink order up a bit because they didn’t have much. The food, in my opinion, was not worth the money.On a positive note, the place was clean, the music was upbeat and fun, and the staff were very friendly.

This place is HANDS DOWN one of my must stops in Meridian. Some of the best birria I’ve had ever.
