Went with the Versos Clásicos and enjoyed every dish and wine. Somm Freya significantly enhanced the experience with her vast knowledge and sweet personality. It’s always nice when your Somm is down to earth. The Sake was an interesting choice and pleasant surprise I will be asking for Sake a lot more now. Had an unplanned evening free in Miami and treated myself to dinner at Ariete. Superb, creative food; attentive service; warm and cozy ambiance. The oysters with bone marrow butter were plate-licking-worthy. The sommelier, Freya, was both knowledgeable and passionate, as well as a pleasure to chat with. Highly recommend. I've heard so many great things about Ariete and I'm so glad I finally got to try it out for dinner! The cozy and romantic ambiance of the restaurant sets the stage perfectly for the culinary delight that's to come. For starters, the service was impeccable. The staff was not only incredibly attentive, but they were also very knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. As for the food, we got the prix fixe option and each dish was a carefully crafted masterpiece. Not only did each dish look visually stunning, but the flavors were unique and intriguing. The two most standout dishes for us were the Pastrami Style Short Rib and Foie Gras. The combination of flavors and textures in these dishes was nothing short of genius. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Ariete to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Coconut Grove!
This was definitely one of the best food experiences I ever had. It was a celebration and we decided to go with a 4 course menu for $125 per person. Initially we thought it would not be enough food but at the end of the meal we were completely full. We tried many different dishes since everyone on the table was ordering something different. My favorites were the FOIE GRAS with sour orange temptation caramel, plantain pave and cocoa nibs; and the PASTRAMI STYLE SHORT RIB with red pepper-beef jus, gem and fennel caesar, oyster short rib croquette. Those dishes were mid blowing and the techniques were executed to perfection. As a dessert, THE CIGAR with manjari shell, hazelnut praline, gianduia mousse and espresso ice cream was very interesting with a presentation that impressed by the cigar box. It's not a cheap experience, but you should try. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
