River Green Cafe Deli - Mid Suffolk

We drove from Stonham Barms and arrived at 2.55pm. I popped my head in and asked if they were still open as the place was empty and a young waitress sweeping up. I got told, rather abruptly, 'we close at 4! '...by the tall older gentleman? I looked at my watch, a good hour before they close then...but was made to feel un-welcome I didnt bother. Shame as my ex army disabled hubby was sat in the car parched... Having worked in retail hospitality for years that is NOT how you greet a potential new customer. Wont be back....

The River Green Cafe is an absolute delight and we're in regularly! Today was a quick sandwich, delicious high quality ingredients, fast and friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere, extremely good value. What more could you want!

Beautiful spot to stop and watch the world go by. Iced caramel lattes very welcome on a hot day and very dog friendly!

The most wonderful traditional cafe in lovely historic surroundings. Good quality ingredients used for lovely tasty breakfasts. I recommend highly. We travel many miles to eat here.
