Went in for lunch today. The bartender was very friendly, attentive and the beer frosty coId. I ordered the full rack of ribs with fries and orings. The ribs are fall off the bones tasty! The only issue I have is that bbq sauce was obviously held in a warming unit to keep it heated and slathered on the rib, but the ribs itself.... they were at lukewarm temperature at best. I would have glady given more stars but lukewarm ribs lost them.
This place is better than a two star avg! Big bar, plenty of tv's, good food, and spacious. What more do you need? Under new Mngmt and they own other restaurants and need time to make their mark here as well and the location has been a restaurant in Middleton for 30+ yrs.
What a joke. Our order was so messed up I was waiting for someone to come out and say I was on candid camera. I guess it's called main St grill now and it's awful. Our waitress was completely clueless it was pitiful nevermind the mess up. I didn't eat anything.
Dale was a great bartender. Friendly service , lively atmosphere and reasonable good food. We will be back again and may make this our regular spot. It's like 99 but it keeps it real not being a chain. The other reviews said it was bad service, but with the new restaurant name maybe there has been a change. I got the special 9.99 chicken parm sandwich and fries that came with a beer and my girlfriend got the buffalo chicken Caesar salad. She also ordered a gin gimlet and the bartender actually knew what she was talking about and made a good one. Most places around here usually have no idea what that is.
