Mondo is one of my weekly go tos. Be sure to stop in during the week to get the best lunch special around. For only a “half” salad and “half” sandwich, I can almost never finish both! Highly recommend the Tuscano salad, eggplant fries, avocado turkey panini, the chicken pesto panini, and of course THE SANGRIAS. Top notch guys keep it up! Meal type: Lunch

I don’t frequently have a reason to be in Middletown, but I was there last night with my 8 year old grandson. Being from New Haven, the pizza capital of the world, we are harsh critics. We both agreed that the pizza at Mondo was absolutely delicious and the salads are also worth ordering. He chose the pizza; a medium fresh mozzarella with basil and I ordered the Mondo greens salad. My grandson woke up this morning and decided to give it a five start review on his own! We decided to write this together as our leftovers are warming up for breakfast!
