Maru Sushi Grill - Midland

I used to love coming to this restaurant for hibachi. It was my favorite spot in Midland. The steak used to be delicious, but they recently changed the cut of steak and vegetables and now it's too fatty and unappetizing. I went there tonight hoping to have chicken, but that had changed as well. I ended up just having fried rice for dinner. We won't be returning. There is another sushi restaurant in town that also serves hibachi, so we will be going there instead.

The sushi was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and the server was very accommodating.

This was my first time trying Maru and I absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and our server, Jill, was fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

This restaurant is a great choice for sushi, but it feels more like dining in a cafeteria.

Excellent, high quality food, unspoiled by 'local tastes '. Fantastic service! Would love to go there again
