The service is much slower though front and back prep don't seem to communicate well so you always have to wait for something to get cooked or get replenished. The staff seem to just go through the motions without any hustle or pride in their work.
This place is great, I?ve gone twice now. The prices are pretty competitive with places like Cafe Rio, you can tell that the ingredients here are a little fresher. Workers were efficient. Star lost because one worker did not speak English which made ordering very difficult, and then when I had a question about which sauces they had later, he was unable to answer. I think diversity is great, but when a customer has a question, the employee should be able to speak in the dominant language of the area.
Wonderful and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is light and delicious. If you?re looking for healthy, this is the place. You start with a base of white or brown rice, or noodles, then add a protein, and then get to dress up your meal with a variety of vegetables and sauces. Any of the ingredients can be made into a bowl, tacos, soup, or wrap. It?s moderately priced around $9-$10 per serving. Would highly recommend if you?re in the Union Park Avenue area.
Bowl with rice noodles and meatballs.. My favorite thing to order. Delicious! Great service at this location.
Great fast casual Asian fusion restaurant. It is a build-your-own at the counter type of place, so you pick the basic framework, the protein, then the toppings you want and the staff builds it for you as you move on down the line. The fountain beverage selection of mixed juices is great. I always try them all and then fill up my cup with my favourite. The whole place is always clean and tidy, and takeaway options are easy.
