Over-priced for what you get. Staff was irritated to have customers come in an interrupt their iPhone surfing. Asked for ice water and got, maybe, 3 ice cubes. Pastry was about what you might get at Walmart, except it was in a glass case so it was high priced. Won't be back. If you stay at Zermatt, take your own pastry from Walmart or Smith's. Side note: Avoid Zermatt.
Food was meh. Breadsticks was bland and the dipping sauce had no flavor. It was also burnt. I ordered Caesar salad and the dressing wasn't tossed like most Caesar salads are. Instead it was drenched with dressing. I couldn't taste the lettuce at all. The only good thing they had was the Alfredo pesto pasta with Sausage. Service was ok, like they're just here to do their job bc at the end you are forced to pay a 20% gratuity. It wasn't spectacular- not what I expected from a nice hotel. It's called a cafe but it should be called an Italian restaurant bc all they had was pizza, pasta, and salad. Not really what I call a cafe but if you're stuck and can't go anywhere, then this place isn't that bad.
Pretty great little bakery. Happy with the selections. Prices too high but like you literally can’t find another spot in Midway
They completely changed their menu and theme from last year. No BBQ, just a Pizzaria and it is....not good. I'm sorry, I rarely give bad reviews, but I would get better pizza at a cafeteria. Spent $60 on two pies and an appetizer (tip included). I recommend going somewhere else. My kids didn't like the pizza either and it was plain cheese. Still felt clean and the service was fine. Still a great place to stay.
