But in order for me to leave a review for Hanoi, I’d have to make a rsv through the fork. We walked in looking for Vietnamese food for lunch. The place is well decorated and the service is good with friendly staff. The food is terrible. We ordered pho, vermicelli, egg roll, and the snail. Pho was very bland and they did not offer hoisin sauce. When I asked for it, they brought out ones that is already mixed with peanut. I appreciate the cooked beans sprout and peppers. No basils. The vermicelli was better than the pho, but it was not made correctly in a Vietnamese style. The egg roll was decent. The stir fry beef with onions mixed into the vermicelli was ok, but not great. The snail was not good, I try to eat a few and then couldn’t do it anymore. The Vietnamese coffee with the milk and the drip was very good. And that was the only part of the meal that is good. It seems many people left good reviews. The food is not authentic Vietnamese, and I was very disappointed.
My friend and I were traveling around Europe for 2 weeks when we began to get sick of pasta, pizza and the like and wanted to find some Vietnamese food (we are Vietnamese). We looked up this restaurant in TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. The food was so delicious, so authentic and best of all the host (I believe he was the owner) was so gracious. We chatted with him and tried a few of specialities he recommended and cooked himself, we ended staying at the restaurant until late that it became unsafe to take the subway back to our hotel. So the host offered to drive us back to our hotel for free! This became one of the highlights of our month long European trip. Must try: cha muc Ha Long squid sausage
We stayed nearby and had trouble finding a restaurant for dinner, but were very glad to end up at Ha Long Bay! Great for a quick and easy dinner, service was friendly and the tasteful interior design added to the cosy ambiance. Will come back if I am in the area again!
Excellent Vietnamese cuisine and courtesy service
Looking at the reviews I came puzzled, but instead I have to say that I found it all right. I was in vietnam and the pho bo looked pretty authentic, definitely very good. Vietnamese appetizers were also good and also sweet. I would have liked to drink a Vietnamese beer. friendly and fast service. It is a shame that the menu is a bit confused (vietnam, pizza, sushi,) but I think it is because of the proximity to the central station where many people turn with different needs. If you were focusing on Vietnamese, I think you could really do great things. We will definitely come back!
